I was born in Delaware and grew up in Virginia, but my connection to Japan started long before I ever lived here. Ten years ago, I made the move and built a life in Japan that I truly love. I speak Japanese and hold JLPT N2, and I’m now happily married, learning every day through the experience of an international marriage.

Outside of work, I love exploring new places both within Japan and abroad. I never get tired of discovering local cafes, quiet towns, and new onsen to unwind in. I recently started ballet and enjoy learning traditional Japanese dance, both of which have become creative outlets that help me slow down and stay connected to the culture around me.

Japan has become home in every sense of the word. Whether I’m traveling, spending time with my husband, or enjoying a peaceful weekend at home, I try to stay curious, grounded, and grateful for the life I’ve built here.
